A Bit About Me

Founder and Group Travel Specialist
 
I honestly never “planned” to be a travel agent – life just led me to it! After earning a liberal arts degree, I began working at the Denver Chamber of Commerce. A college graduation trip to Hawaii led me to my future husband, and I was quickly relocating to Bremerton WA to become a Navy wife in a very small community. The next few years were spent selling radio advertising. When a co-worker decided to open a travel agency, he asked me to come work for him. I commuted by ferry to travel school across the breathtaking waters of the Puget Sound to Seattle. 
 
The travel agency took off, and we were busy hand-writing airline tickets and building vacations, all without the assistance of the internet! Can you imagine? In fact, since beginning my travel career in 1985, I have seen this wonderful, crazy, and ever-changing industry adapt to deregulation, automation, specialization and even a Worldwide pandemic! But through it all, I’m still madly in love with my career!

In 2001, I decided it was time to open my own travel agency, where I could follow my passion for providing creative, customized travel itineraries. I began working remotely, before it became a thing!

Today’s travel consultants are more likely to focus on one specialty niche. I’m a born nurturer and am happiest when I can bring people together to celebrate! Organizing group travel was a natural progression for my career. I love seeing people sharing experiences through the magic of travel!

Travel transforms us. It enhances our lives with new cultural experiences, and broadens our understanding of the world we live in. Combine that with people who share common interests, and you’ve created the perfect travel environment to transform and build deeper, stronger relationships.
 
Through travel, I’ve hosted a group of beer-lovers to Ireland, escorted senior groups on Caribbean and Mississippi river cruises; created dream Destination Weddings to tropical beaches; and sent countless “family and friend” groups on vacation to celebrate milestone birthdays, anniversaries and graduations.

I welcome each day with a smile, because I’m doing what I love…helping my clients to make new memories, create stronger bonds, and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life through group vacations. I look forward to the day when I can create YOUR group getaway!
